Poles value work!

Poland is the nation where work is far more appreciated than leisure time. This is the opinion of 71% of Poles, according to report of Euro RSCG. The European average with this regard stands at 59% - appears from the report of Euro RSCG.


The Poles outnumber even the Germans (68%) who are often associated with hard work.


Nevertheless, there are still nations in Europe that value leisure time over work - 39% EU average, 54% in the Netherlands and 52% in the UK.


Most of Poles approve professional activity of women who raise children (58%). 25% of the nation definitely approves such situation. The opinion of Poles go in line with the EU average - 59%.


There are, however, countries like Portugal or the Czech Republic where people do not approve of the situation where a woman raising children works - 58% and 52% respectively.
