Neville Parry - Chairman

A South African national, Neville is Chairman of Woodcote Group a.s. a chain of builders' merchants and specialist stores in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.  Woodcote’s core business is supplying interior systems, insulation and facade systems. Neville has been an energetic investor in many businesses and brings over 20 years of CEE regional experience to the management team. 

Angus Mathews - Managing Director

A chartered mechanical engineer, formerly worked in the oil and gas industry as a Project Development Manager for Dresser-Rand, Central Europe. Based in Prague since 1996, he speaks Czech and French. Since joining Alpha in 2001, he has managed investment projects throughout the region including establishment of new manufacturing facilities, strategic outsourcing programmes, organising investment seminars, development of business opportunities and relationships between CEE and UK / EU / international partners, manages contacts with regional investment agencies (CzechInvest, Sario, PIAZ, ARIS, ITDH).

Evženie Býmová - Associate Business Director

A Czech national with university degree in English and Russian with qualifications in accounting, she is responsible for Alpha’s commercial management and for client interfaces in the Czech Republic. She has particular expertise in the application and management of EU and Czech Government grants. She also leads Alpha’s programmes for setting up local companies for clients and acting as their first Jednatel (Responsible Executive).

Rodney Yeadon - Business Development Director (UK)

An engineering graduate and past chartered civil and structural engineer, he gained design, site and project management experience in the petro-chemical sector before joining PA Consulting Group as a specialist project management consultant. He managed major projects in the UK, Brazil, Jamaica, Hong Kong and Turkey before directing PA’s UK oil and gas and utility businesses. In 1991 he retired from PA to set up Alpha businesses in the UK and Czechoslovakia. He has invested in other businesses in the Czech Republic and has advised and supported many Western companies considering the benefits of a low cost Central European operation.

Martin Valášek - Project Manager

Martin provides hands on Project Management and Industrial Engineering services to Alpha's inward investment clients. Dealing with local building authorities and working to national and international codes, he manages the installation of complete production lines, the construction and modification of buidlings, issuing RFQs for sub contract work (civil, electrical, mechanical, etc) dealing with utilities, coordinating contractors, compiling project documentation and obtaining necessary permits and approvals.

Stuart Roberts - Associate Project Manager 

Stuart Roberts is an experienced multi-lingual business manager and consultant specialising in strategy development, human resources management and business team performance improvement. For Alpha, Stuart works on the basis of an Associate. He has a degree in Slavonic Studies from Cambridge University and completed a postgraduate diploma at Charles University, Prague, in the late 70s. Stuart’s career has covered a wide range of operational, planning and management functions (HR Manager, Export Sales Manager for Eastern Europe, Country Manager, Managing Director etc.). Stuart is fluent in spoken and written Czech and is an active user of French, Russian, German and Polish.

Vladimír Havránek - Associate Project Manager 

A graduate in systems engineering, Vladimír previously worked as a computer programmer, analyst and project leader in a large metallurgical enterprise. He received his executive MBA diploma from the US Business School Praha and studied an English postgraduate course at Charles University in Prague. Vladimir has also worked for an innovative American IT company as a Country Manager, has run an electronics contract manufacturing project for a leading Czech IT company, and has worked as a consultant for foreign companies entering the Czech Republic. At Alpha, Vladimír works as a project manager and strategy consultant. He is fluent in English and speaks some Polish.

Peter Dunn - Associate Project Manager (Poland)

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Peter was previously International Human Resources Director for a major multinational FMCG business and, subsequently, Vice President of two Polish subsidiary companies. His specialty is managing complex restructuring/change projects, often involving sensitive negotiations with Trade Unions. Resident in Poland since 1995 his experience includes, organizational development, advising on pay and benefit structures, executive search and, assisting new investors in establishing a Polish legal entity through to reaching full operational status.

Ian Thomson - Senior Consultant

Ian is an experienced business consultant and coach; BSc Honours, Certified Management Consultant, Fellow Institute of Consulting, Fellow Chartered Management Institute. His background is in manufacturing as a production manager in the food industry, he also spent over 25 years with PA Consulting Group, as operating consultant, business development manager, Regional Director for the North of England, and latterly with responsibility for PA’s business strategy service. He majors in:Business strategy development and implementation, Market research, strategy and planning, Culture change, profit and performance improvement, Senior team building and facilitation.

Janice Orchard - Senior Consultant

Janice is an experienced marketing and business consultant and coach with a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma. She has over 20 years experience with PA Consulting Group, as Marketing Manager for North of England and marketing consultant and 15 years as an independent consultant specialising in: Business strategies and plans, Marketing including market research, strategy, planning, communications, Customer and staff surveys, Culture change, Training in “soft skills”.

Martin Hadaščok - IT Consultant

Martin specialises in all matters related to IT, both theoretical and practical. He has deep knowledge of the local markets, the key players and the technologies being used. For incoming investors he provides full service ICT project implementation. 

Eduard Berka - Research Manager

Czech national, speaks Slovak, Polish, English, German, French, Russian. Research Manager with over 35 years Import / Export / Procurement experience within Czech foreign trade organisations. Product and company identification of suppliers and partners in Czech, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, FSU, ex-Yugoslavia. Reporting on tax, customs, prices, local legislation for European, American, Japanese clients.

Dagmar Sikova - Researcher

Dagmar carries out market research for Alpha's clients across the Czech Republic and Slovakia; location comparison reports, salary surveys, supplier search, customer search, POS surveys, local legislation and administrative codes, evaluation of government ministry statistics.
