Polish government’s initiative is to be officially announced at the end of March, during a conference on mobility of employment in Europe. This could encourage several countries of the old “15” to abolish the requirement of work permits for Polish citizens. Finland, Spain and Greece are likely to do so. However, the final decisions will be made in April 2004.
