Warehouse properities market decentralized
( 03 / November / 2005 )
According to Colliers International Poland, warehouse market is growing thanks to the development of the logistics sector. Investors are interested in the Łódź, Katowice, Wrocław, Poznań and Gdańsk regions.
Until now, the warehouse space market concentrated in Warsaw. The developers did not invest in large projects outside of the capital's market since there was no interest in other locations.
As of the year 2004, in relation to the growth of highway infrastructure and development of the logistics sector, the warehouse market is also growing. In the last year its dynamic development takes place in other regions - strategic for the logistics companies who are the usual tenants of Polish warehouse parks.
Very popular and sought after are locations in the Łódź, Katowice, Wrocław, Poznań and Gdańsk regions. Silesia is the fastest growing market, which is directly related to the largest advances in the A4 highway construction.
The warehouse market will become more decentralized, as the development of main transit routes and highways will progress.
