Goverment approves tenders for HUF 57 billion in energy project grants

The government has approved the announcement of tenders for HUF 57 billion (about $231 million) in grants for energy projects, minister in charge of energy affairs and transportation Csaba Molnár said after a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
Applications for the seven tenders will be accepted starting March 16. The smallest grant available will be HUF 1 million and the biggest HUF 1 billion. The government also approved a HUF 7.5 billion EU-funded project to connect tram lines in the Buda part of the capital. The project is expected to be completed by the autumn of 2010.
