Swallowfield to establish mfg base in Czech Republic

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Swallowfield PLC said it will establish a manufacturing base in the Czech Republic, the benefits of which will be seen in the results for the year beginning July 2008.
The specialist household goods maker said this facility is expected to start production in January 2008.
Chief executive Ian Mackinnon said the new facility is expected to enable the company to access new and growing markets in the medium-term.
